The course is an introductory course in programming with the Python language aimed at providing insight into how programming can be used in industrial applications with a focus on automation and AI. In the course, you will learn to construct simple computer programs in the Python language, implement basic algorithms based on pseudocode. Basic programming concepts are included such as: control structures, data types, variables, methods, functions, common data structures, error handling, and debugging. In addition, a brief overview of object-oriented programming and module management in Python is provided. **Industry and academy**<br> This course has been developed in collaboration with industry partners within the framework of one of our educational projects. The project aims to provide courses at the advanced level to a mix of professionals and students to strengthen the Swedish industry's competitiveness.<br> <br> We apply validation of work experience to see if you have knowledge that corresponds to the eligibility requirements for the course.
