The course treats server administration using examples and exercises from the Windows Server ecosystem. Content: Directory services (Active Directory), DNS, storage systems, Powershell, and resource management. Also treated are techniques for: distribution, redundancy, replication, performance, and access control. During the course a larger project is carried out where a server system providing redundant services should be built.
Prerequisite courses for this course are: Passed courses: GNA100-Fundamentals of Network and Internet Technology and PDA115-Personal Computer Technology and Maintenance and INT202-Internet Infrastructure Applications (or the equivalent).
