This course covers keyboard music from the 18th century. The instrumental music from the Baroque relies on contrapuntal models which were common to all musical theory and practice for nearly a century. In the course, examples and case studies are studied through analysis, after which you write exercises in the same style according to fixed models and exercises. The course covers three- and four-part fugues and other advanced contrapuntal forms, as a continuation of the course Baroque Counterpoint 1. **Outline for distance course:** This course is net-based and has no mandatory physical meetings or fixed times. You will need a computer with an internet connection to follow the course. Examinations take place continuously.
