The course illustrates how students learn and understand computer science. It provides insights into how learning computer science concepts and skills occur and how, with such knowledge as a base, to develop teaching the subject. The course is based on the current subject of didactic research and provides ample opportunities for individualisation. It is addressed primarily to those who want to teach in the computer area but is suitable for anyone who wants to discuss computers and their applications with those other than subject matter experts.
Entry requirements
120 credits including 45 credits in computer science or 45 credits in academic teaching and learning/educational sciences. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
