This is a continuation course in machine learning, focusing on deep learning. It is divided in two modules: - Module 1: Deep learning fundamentals: Neural networks, backpropagation, optimisation, initialisation, and regularisation. - Module 2: Neural network architectures for - image data (model architecture: convolutional neural networks and residual networks), - sets and sequential data (model architecture: transformers), and - graph data (Model architecture: graph neural networks). The course consists of lectures, computer labs, hand-in assignments, helpdesks and a final exam.

Entry requirements

120 credits. Participation in Statistical Machine Learning and a second programming course. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
