Different design styles and abstraction methods. VHDL: Aspects given in the language for modelling and specification. Design tools. Project in simulation and synthesis of a nontrivial (industry-relevant) design in an FPGA.

Entry requirements

120 credits in science/engineering. One of the courses Computer Programming I, Computer Programming II or Program Design and Data Structures. One of the courses Electronics I, Digital Technology and Electronics, or Digital Electronics. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
