Through practicals and lectures, the course covers the design, implementation, statistical analysis, and written and oral communication of ecological surveys and data. Field practicals on GIS mapping, bird inventories, insect traps and plant surveys are core components of the course; and to apply methods that are standard in applied conservation and monitoring programs in Sweden and the EU.
