Challanges and possibilities with electrical airplanes. Drive lines of electric airplanes, helicopters and drones. Effects and power requirements, effiiciency, failure modes and security. Energy storage and charging. Relevant societal, environmental and ethical aspects.
Entry requirements
140 credits in science/engineering, out of which 20 credits in electrical engineering at Master's level. Electric Propulsion Systems, and Batteries and Storage. Participation in Power Electronics II and Design of Electric Motors. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
