Statistical methods applied on measured data. AC and DC bridged circuits - null and deflection type bridges measuring resistance capacitance and inductance. Measurement of quantities under varying environmental conditions, compensation due to these variations. Measurement of high AC and DC currents - different calibrations and standards, operating currents and fault currents. Measurement of high AC and DC voltages - different calibrations and standards, operating voltage and power surges. Measurements of power (active / reactive) and energy - standards and calibrations, phase shift. Measurement concerning insulation materials, devices, electric field, dipole moments, tanDelta - standards and caliberbration. Measurements of resistivity, conductivity and contact resistance, magnetic materials - magnetic losses of various kinds.

Entry requirements

120 credits in science/engineering including Electronics, Electromagnetism and Electrical Power Engineering. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
