During the course, you will learn about important experimental and theoretical methods for studying the electronic structure of functional materials. Functional materials cover a wide range of organic and inorganic materials that have functionality for energy storage, artificial photosynthesis, nanoscience, catalysis, high-temperature superconductivity, magnetoresistance etcetera. We offer a combined approach of introducing experimental and theoretical methods that the department is specialised in photoemission spectroscopy, x-ray emission spectroscopy, density functional theory calculations etcetera.
120 credits in science/engineering with Quantum Physics I or Introduction to Materials Science (10 credits). Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
Each offering has its own dates and conditions. Closed offerings are retained as history and do not mean that a new application is open.
