The course treats possible future nuclear energy systems. The reactor concepts generation III and IV as well as accelerator-driven transmutation and fusion are discussed. The course contains the principles and concepts of project work. You will work in a project group of 5-6 people for a project where you will search for information and value it. Oral and written presentation of the project as well as opposition on another project is included.
Entry requirements
60 credits in science/engineering. Participation in Reactor Physics and Nuclear Thermal Hydraulics and Steam Turbine Technology.
