This course covers the standards for integration of renewables to the distribution system; distributed generation; microgrids/energy storage; solar-, wind- an wave power systems; power converters for grid integration as well as control strategies. Spatial and temporal variability of different variable sources are also gone through.
Entry requirements
120 credits in science/engineering including Automatic Control I. In addition, participation in 10 credits in science/engineering at advanced level. Participation in one of the courses Power Electronics I and Power Electronics. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
