The course provides advanced knowledge in language policy, language planning, and cultivation of language. Linguistic ideologies and attitudes, and how these affect language and educational policy decisions in a society, are covered in the course. The course also covers work with plain language and various aspects of language activism.
Entry requirements
120 credits, of which 60 credits in a linguistic subject, or a Bachelor's degree in a linguistic subject
