In the Master's Programme in Sustainable and Innovative Natural Resource Management – SINReM, you learn to find a balance between using and preserving Earth's resources and reducing the environmental impact for a healthy sustainable future. You will innovatively explore for new resources, promote sustainable use of resources in products and production processes, reduce waste generation, develop secondary (alternative) resources as well as recovery recycling of resources from end-of-life products. The need for professionals with insights into the circularity of the raw materials value chain and expertise in the sector is vital for awareness of environmental issues and the increasing demands for natural resources. The programme prepares you for starting your own business, working in the industry as a resource engineer, or perhaps continuing your studies as a PhD student. The programme leads to a joint degree from Uppsala University, Ghent University and TU Bergakademie Freiberg and is supported by EIT Raw Materials and Erasmus Mundus. The language of instruction is English.
