The two-year Master’s Programme in Wind Power Project Management, at one of the world's top-ranked universities, prepare you for a career in the global wind power industry by combining management and technology. Wind power development is rapidly increasing around the world seeking to meet renewable energy needs as well as achieve future low carbon economies and environmental goals. There is a strong demand for qualified professionals from a diverse range of technical and non-technical backgrounds to lead interdisciplinary wind power projects. During your studies, you will meet industry representatives, researchers and expert teaching staff from various academic fields essential to wind power development. You will be going on a number of field trips, use industry-specific software and study real cases. Your classmates come from all over the world which contributes to a dynamic study environment. The programme focuses on the planning, development and management of wind power. The specialisation in the second year increases your value in the job market and can open doors for further PhD studies. As a student, you can build a broad network for future potential employment and internships in the industry. The programme is given on Campus Gotland, in Visby on the Baltic Island of Gotland. Gotland is an excellent place to study wind power, being a forerunner in wind power development and generating more than 50 % of its electricity by wind power. The language of instruction is English.

Entry requirements

_Academic requirements_ A Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university. The main field of study must be within engineering, science or social science. _Language requirements_ Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6. This requirement can be met either by achieving the required score on an internationally recognised test, or by previous upper secondary or university studies in some countries.
