Systematisk mineralogi, optisk mineralogi och petrografi av huvudsakligen magmatiska och metamorfa bergarter. Magmatisk och metamorf petrologi samt mineralogisk och geokemisk klassificering av bergarter. Övning i mineralogi och petrologi, petrografi och geokemi. Fältarbete med bedömning av magmatiska och metamorfa bergarter i Sverige.
Entry requirements
60 credits in Earth Science, including Earth Science - Planet Earth, 30 credits and Sedimentology, Stratigraphy and Palaeobiology, 10 credits. Chemistry is recommended.
