Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (abbreviated NMR spectroscopy) is an important tool for determining the structure and 3D structure of both small organic compounds and large macromolecules. The course provides both a theoretical background to the technique and an overview of the type of information about organic compounds that various NMR experiments can provide. Great focus is placed on practical use of the instruments and training to interpret the data that various experiments generate.
120 credits with 60 credits in chemistry including 15 credits organic chemistry or 15 credits physical chemistry, alternatively 20 credits of organic and physical chemistry together. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
Each offering has its own dates and conditions. Closed offerings are retained as history and do not mean that a new application is open.
