The course addresses different kinds of impairments, their implications for individuals, and how it is possible to take the impairments into account when developing different kinds of supportive tools. The course deals with physical, cognitive and perceptual impairments and how these affect the design. In the course, there are also practical exercises and site visits.
120 credits including 60 credits in science/engineering/information systems. 15 credits at Master's level in human-computer interaction. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
