Plasma physics studies the collective behaviour of charged particles in electromagnetic fields. Applications are found in space- and astrophysics, fusion research and surface and layer growths in materials science and technology. The course gives basic knowledge about the properties of plasma and gives examples of different applications.
Entry requirements
120 credits with Mechanics II/Mechanics KF. Electromagnetic field theory. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
