Översikt av halvledarkomponenter för kraftelektronik: dioder, tyristorer, transistorer. Likriktare: enfas och trefas diodlikriktare med olika typer av last, medelvärdesuteffekt, prestandaparametrar, övertonsanalys. Switchade DC-DC-omvandlare: konstruktion, analys och styrning. PWM, egenskaper av kontrollerbara switchar, kontinuerlig och diskontinuerlig strömmodus. Switchade DC-AC-omvandlare: grundläggande begrepp, sinusformad PWM.
Entry requirements
60 credits in science/engineering including Basics of Electrical Engineering II: Electric Circuit, Single Variable Calculus and Transform Methods.
