In this course, you will learn to account for the axiomatic basis of probability theory, and perform probability calculations using combinatorial principles and other probability theoretical concepts. If you want to get good basic knowledge in both probability theory and statistics, it is recommended that you also take Inference Theory I.
Entry requirements
10 credits in mathematics. Participation in Several Variable Calculus M, Several Variable Calculus or Several Variable Calculus Limited Version.
