This Science Communication course is designed for Master's students and professionals in life sciences who seek to enhance their ability to communicate scientific knowledge effectively. This course covers various formats of scientific and popular scientific communication, including academic writing, oral presentations, and media outreach. By completing this course, the attendees will be able to explain the fundamental principles of different forms of scientific communication, use scientific and popular scientific formats to share biomedical knowledge and research accurately and understandably, and assess and argue for different presentation techniques and provide constructive feedback.
Undergraduate education of 180 credits within life sciences (e.g. biomedicine, biotechnology, medicine, veterinary medicine), and 30 credits at Master's level within life sciences. Proficiency in English equivalent to the general entry requirements for first-cycle (Bachelor's level) studies.
