The course will prepare for fundamental and applied research within surface physics and related fields, such as material science, material chemistry and nanoscience. Properties of surfaces and interfaces as well as related experimental methods are covered.
Entry requirements
120 credits in science and engineering. Introduction to Materials Science (10 credits) and Chemical Bonding in Molecules and Materials, alternatively Solid State Physics I/F or Condensed Matter Physics. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
