Tools that facilitate AI-assisted creative content generation are now ubiquitous, and creative industries are having to adapt to and debate to what extent these tools can have both positive and negative impacts. The objective of this course is to frame this conversation at an academic level, as well as to provide structured learning moments where you can critically experiment with the use of AI tools in several aspects of the creative process of game development. During the course, you will develop practical projects and reflect upon your (these) projects as part of your learning process. Note that the course does not cover programming or development of AI content generation tools. Rather it focuses on the use, creation, and potential pitfalls of creative content generated with the assistance of AI. **Outline for distance course:** The course is internet-based and has no mandatory physical meetings. You will need a computer with an internet connection to follow the course. Subscription to AI content generation services may be required to complete the course assignments.
