This course explores literature and literary theory beyond the nation and national languages. Taking the notion of world literature as its point of departure the course gives a deep insight into and understanding of a selection of perspectives and methodologies within theories of world literature. Instruction, class discussions, and examinations are in English.

Entry requirements

120 credits in a language subject, literature or another subject within the humanities, including an independent project of at least 15 credits.
