## About the programme Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially generative AI, is transforming industries and societies across the globe. From healthcare and finance to education and manufacturing, AI is reshaping how organizations operate and innovate. However, successful implementation of AI requires more than technical expertise—it demands strategic leadership, ethical awareness, and a deep understanding of organizational processes. The AI Management programme is designed to meet this urgent need. It equips students to lead AI-driven change responsibly, bridging the gap between technology and business. With a strong foundation in information systems, organizational strategy, and ethical AI, graduates will be prepared to guide organizations through digital transformation and contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive society. This international bachelor’s programme (180 ECTS) focuses on the strategic application and management of AI in organizational contexts. Delivered entirely in English and based on campus in Trollhättan, Sweden, the programme combines theory and practice through University West’s signature pedagogical approach: Work-Integrated Learning (WIL). WIL fosters learning through the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, derived from both higher education and the work environment. ## Career and further studies After completing the program, you will be highly sought after in both the public and private sectors. You can work in roles such as AI project coordinator/manager, data science leader, AI ethics officer, AI operations specialist, and AI communicator. Opportunities will be available in organizations implementing AI solutions as well as in technology companies and consulting firms—both in Sweden and internationally. If you want to continue your studies at the postgraduate and master’s level, University West offers several programs within AI, Technology Management, or related fields. Examples of programs include: the Master’s (one-year) Programme in IT and Management, the Master’s Programme *Leadership in Digitalized Organisations*, and the Master’s Programme in Work-integrated Sustainable Development.
