An Introduction to Information Security

This course provides a technical introduction to information security and the methods used to protect digital systems. </p><p>The course gives you an understanding of central concepts and techniques in data, Internet and web security. You will learn how attacks can be carried out, what vulnerabilities exist, and how different security mechanisms are used to reduce risks. </p><p>You will get an overview of several areas within information security, such as cryptography, digital certificates, email security, DNS, web security and authentication.
