Archaeology and Ancient History: Master's thesis - Classical Archaeology and Ancient History

<p>The degree project is the final course in your master's programme and gives you the opportunity to independently carry out a research project in classical archaeology and ancient history. The course is a chance to deepen your knowledge and demonstrate your mastery of methods and theories.</p><p>In this course, you will formulate and work on a research question within classical archaeology and ancient history. You will choose a topic together with a supervisor and use relevant methods and theories to answer your question. To pass, you need to demonstrate that you have a good overview of the subject, in-depth knowledge in your chosen area and an understanding of current research. </p><p>You will practise collecting and analysing material, using both qualitative and quantitative methods, and thinking critically about complex issues. You show your ability to make assessments based on scientific, social and ethical perspectives, and demonstrate that you can take responsibility for your own knowledge development. </p><p><br/></p>
