Civil Law II

The course centres on public law and covers the following components: constitutional law, freedom and rights, EU law, general as well as special administrative law, and freedom of the press and freedom of speech. In the area of constitutional law regulations pertaining to public organisation, including the government and the parliament, and the constitutional status of courts and public authorities are treated. These statutes also regulate the power functions that rest on the parliament and the government, such as regulatory power, standard review, the national executive administration, and the power of control. In the area of administrative law, the common regulations for the organisation and operations of the entire public domain are treated along with the procedures of public authorities. Instruction is in the form of lectures, exercises and seminars. A special component involves writing a PM.
