Översikt
This course provides insight into how different professions can collaborate around children and youth for various purposes. These purposes may include protecting and supporting children and youth in vulnerable life situations, promoting development and learning, and working with children’s and youth’s leisure and culture. Through concrete examples, the course highlights how different ways of organizing cross-professional work affect the influence and agency of children or youth. The course is entirely online and consists only of pre-recorded lectures, which are published in conjunction with the different modules. In addition to the pre-recorded lectures, the teaching includes reading literature, both Swedish and English, discussions, and assignments. The course includes an examinable synchronous seminar via Zoom; apart from this, there are no synchronous mandatory elements in the course.

BA/BSc in education or nursing, 180 credits, or Bachelor’s degree, 180 credits with a major in social work and social pedagogy, psychology, pedagogics, sociology, culture studies or public health or the equivalent, and the equivalent of English studies at the upper secondary (high school) level in Sweden, called English 6 or English B and Swedish 3.
