Degree Project in Marine Ecology

Marine ecology at the University of Gothenburg is available in three places: Tjärnö Marine Biological Laboratory, Kristinebergs Marina Research Station and in Gothenburg. The thesis can be done in Gothenburg or partly be based at one of the two field stations. The thesis work may have an ecological orientation but can also include purely botanical or zoological issues. We can offer supervision in the following areas: marine population ecology, population genetics, evolutionary ecology, behavioral ecology, system ecology, ecotoxicology, fish ecology and fisheries biology and marine environmental analysis and environmental planning. The course may, by agreement, be extended to 45 or 60 credits.
