Design and Theoretical Subjects 2

In the course, the student will become acquainted with the body's anatomy and muscle structure, as well as physical conditions in work, the body's limitations and the cognitive conditions of a human in the designing of products and services. The student is introduced to basic text based argumentation analysis as a method of communicating and presenting design proposals. - Load- and information ergonomics, 3 credits - Argumentation analysis, 1.5 credits 1. Load- and information ergonomics, 3 credits The student will acquire knowledge of biomechanical measurements in work situations, cognitive conditions for humans, and own insights regarding basic rules for designing tools, machines and workplaces. Analysing ergonomic stress related problems and strain injuries is also a part of this course. The student will acquire knowledge of cognitive conditions and limitations of the brain and learn theories, concepts and methods - as well as the application of these - in the field of human/machine as well as human/service. Reflections on ergonomics from a gender perspective is also included. 2. Argumentation analysis, 1,5 credits The student will learn the basic principles of argumentation analysis, and conduct exercises around text based argumentation.
