Explore these and many other pressing questions of the labour market, using research as your tool.</p><p>We address central and current issues in labour economics, focusing on topics frequently debated in society:</p><ul><li>Why do women still earn less than men?</li><li>Is higher education worth the investment?</li><li>How does family background affect life opportunities?</li><li>What are the effects of migration and discrimination?</li></ul><p>We draw on scientific articles and combine theoretical perspectives with empirical findings. You will practise reading and interpreting current research, presenting its main results and using statistical tools to analyse data.</p><p>The course takes an international perspective and is well suited for those who wish to work in advanced analysis within the public sector, international organisations, or business, as well as in policy analysis or research.</p>
