General Linguistics: Level 3 - B. A. Course

<p>Are you curious about how people understand, use, and process language? Do you want to learn more about how linguists work - and try doing research yourself? Then this course is for you. It offers both breadth and depth in linguistics, with a focus on research methods. </p><p>The course provides a solid foundation in linguistic research. You will learn how to study language scientifically, both in theory and practice. You’ll also get an introduction to psycholinguistics - an exciting field that explores how language functions in the brain.</p><h3><span style="font-size: 13px;">The course consists of three parts</span></h3><ul><li>Linguistic Research Methods (7.5 credits) - Learn how linguists work and try out different methods yourself.</li><li>Psycholinguistics (7.5 credits) - Gain insight into how we perceive, produce, and process language.</li><li>Thesis Project (15 credits) - Conduct your own research project in linguistics and present it in a thesis.<br/></li></ul>
