Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability

The course focus on key themes in entrepreneurship and innovation and how these can be applied to specific sectors/industries in which sustainability is of major strategic and systemic importance. Key themes in entrepreneurship and innovation in focus are the essential differences between two management traditions and the pros and cons with these, the strategic phases of the entrepreneurial process and what is done in these, a detailed orientation of the conceptually overheated domain of innovation, and the key ability of bundling and combining various types of innovations into coherent and differentiated offers. Key processes in focus when applying these key themes to matters of sustainability, are the ability to develop a prototype into an innovation and manage it towards realization and market entry, and the ability to contribute in key roles in the development of an organization from entrepreneurial novice/nascent levels to an organization where innovation is a core business process.
