Översikt
The course is offered in the first cycle and is included in the sixth semester of the Bachelor’s Programme in Business and Economics for students majoring in Business Administration. It can only be completed bundled with the course EKF301 International Business, Bachelor Course (15 credits) and not as a freestanding course. The student is to independently complete a larger scientific study in order to receive training in applying a scientific perspective, that is, in applying theories, models and concepts on empirical material. Writing an academic paper entails independently identifying and formulating a major complex and relevant issue, collecting and analyzing literature and data, and conducting an analysis within the specified time. The work is based on the subject's (International Business) scientific basis, methods and current research issues. The work results in a written academic paper, which is reported and discussed at a seminar. The thesis must be written in English.

Admission to the course requires prior completion of the fourth semester of the Programme in Business and Economics, including EKF202 Strategy and Marketing in a Global Context (15 credits) or equivalent, including completion with PROGRAMME IN BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS EKF302 International Business, Bachelor Thesis, 15 credits Internationellt företagande, kandidatuppsats, 15 högskolepoäng First Cycle Main field of studies Specialization Business Administration G2E, First cycle, has at least 60 credits in first-cycle course/s as entry requirements, contains degree project for BA/BSc 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. pass grades of at least 105 credits of which at least 45 credits must be from introductory and intermediate courses in Business Administration within the Programme in Business and Economics or equivalent.
