You will be introduced to EU environmental law, with a particular focus on directives. Additionally, you will delve into international agreements, negotiations, and conventions, analyze Swedish international aid efforts, and examine how businesses are affected by international environmental policies.</p><h3><br>For those interested in environmental issues</h3><p>This course is intended for environmental science students and other students looking to deepen their knowledge of managing climate, environmental, and sustainability challenges within the UN system and the EU. The course provides a strong foundation for those wishing to work on the international aspects of these global challenges.<br>&nbsp;</p><h3>Diverse study methods</h3><p>In addition to lectures and literature seminars, you will be part of a tutorial group that conducts an assignment. You will also participate in a role-playing exercise on a current issue in the UN climate negotiations and develop a policy scenario for a world capable of meeting the two-degree temperature goal of the Paris Agreement. Self-study will also be a central component of the course, and if needed, the course can be conducted in English.<br>&nbsp;</p>
