In this course, you’ll dive into some of the most influential texts in world literature - and explore how language, style, and culture intertwine in Russian storytelling across time.</p><p>This course offers an in-depth exploration of Russian literary studies. You’ll read and analyse a selection of literary texts from different periods in Russian literary history - from 19th-century poetry to contemporary novels and film.<br/></p><p>You’ll learn to interpret texts both linguistically and stylistically, and place them in their historical and cultural contexts. You’ll also develop your ability to discuss and analyse literature in a scholarly way - both in writing and in conversation.<br/><br/></p>
