Översikt
This course introduces the basic laboratory methods for measuring the geotechnical properties of marine sediments. This includes measurements of index properties, undrained shear strength, consolidation and permeability. Students will learn how to integrate these results with geophysical data to describe the bottom stratigraphy, geotechnical properties and geological history of a sampling site.

Access to the course requires knowledge equivalent to Mathematics 4 and knowledge corresponding to Geological sciences 15 credits (GG2010), alternatively the courses Tellus I - Geology, 15 credits (GG2008), Tellus II - Geology, 12.5 credits (GG4039), Tellus III - Geology, 2.5 credits (GG4042)
