Master Programme in Music, Music Drama - Répétiteur

<p>Malmö Academy of Music is a leading educational institution specialised in musical studies, training, and research. With a clear international profile, we move art forward - always with the passion for music and learning at our core.</p><p>The Master of Fine Arts in Music Drama - Répétiteur at Malmö Academy of Music is given in close collaboration with Malmö Opera. The two-year programme is designed to meet the needs of pianists with a high artistic level and ability, and aims to prepare you for a professional career as a répétiteur in opera and musical theater.<br /><br /> The programme gives you the opportunity to develop musically and dramatically among musicians, singers and conductors in an opera house - a unique education in Sweden at the highest artistic level.</p> <p>You will receive teaching in piano, recitative and score playing, conducting and ensemble conducting, singing, harpsichord, music history, language and more. You will also be given the opportunity to meet visiting coaches, singers, répétiteurs and conductors connected to Malmö Opera's current repertoire.</p> <p>At the start of the programme, an individual study plan is made for each student in collaboration with Malmö Academy of Music and Malmö Opera. Upon completion you shall have the knowledge and ability to work as a répétiteur in musical dramatic productions.</p> <p>Since Malmö Academy of Music is part of Lund University, there is also the strength in having a close connection to the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts, which includes Malmö Theater Academy and Malmö Academy of Fine Arts, as well as Inter Arts Center. This opens up for exciting joint projects and collaboration opportunities.</p> <h3>Admission</h3> <p>You can apply for this programme via www.universityadmissions.se. No admission for the academic year 25/26. The next admission period opens for the academic year 26/27.</p> <p>Admission to our programmes requires you to audition at the Malmö Academy of Music.
