Master's Programme in Euroculture

Euroculture is a two-year, interdisciplinary Master's programme which focuses on the study of modern European society, politics and culture in a global context. The programme is a multi-university programme, given in cooperation with seven other European universities in the Euroculture consortium. Recognised by the European Commission as an *Erasmus Mundus Programme of Excellence*, Euroculture is for students who realise that Europe's future will be shaped not only by economics and politics, but also by struggles over identities, values, and heritage – in a word, culture. We will prepare you to make a difference in areas like diplomacy, international business, journalism, cultural management, research and European institutions. You will study the first semester in Uppsala. All students then spend the second semester at one of the other universities in the consortium. In the third semester, you choose whether to do an internship or follow research seminars – perhaps at one of our partner universities in India, Japan, Mexico or Canada. The fourth semester is studied either in Uppsala or at your second-semester university. In that way, you can tailor the programme to your career interests. Moreover, practical courses in *Eurocompetence* build your communicative and management skills and prepare you to use your academic knowledge in practice. The language of instruction is English.
