Norwegian 2

This is a course in Norwegian for students who already have some knowledge of the language. The course has three focus areas: * proficiency in writing Norwegian, which also entails an in-depth knowledge of Norwegian grammar and orthography * ability to understand and analyze a wide selection of examples of contemporary Norwegian dialects/spoken language varieties in the form of television and radio features, podcasts and Norwegian-language music * in-depth comparative knowledge of Norwegian vocabulary. During the course, you will regularly do practical exercises and participate in discussions related to the three focus areas. The course is a distance course and is carried out in a learning platform. Access to an internet-connected computer and headset is necessary. The course is based on self-study and communication in the web-based teaching environment and is aimed at those who feel comfortable with digital teaching formats. Learning, knowledge control and supervision take place via the internet and ten scheduled online meetings are scheduled for the evening. The online meetings are voluntary. You work both individually and in groups. Keep in mind that a distance learning course requires just as much work as a regular campus course. You are expected to have the ability to plan and manage your own study time.
