Online Presentation Skills for University Studies

This course is designed for university students who wish to master the art of online academic presentations. It is ideal for those aiming to enhance their ability to communicate effectively in a digital academic setting. In this course, students will explore the nuances of rhetoric and speech techniques tailored for the academic genre, with a special focus on the use of various digital media. The course aims to equip students with the skills needed to deliver engaging and recipient-adapted oral presentations using digital media. The course is conducted at a half pace over five weeks and is delivered through distance learning. It includes a variety of learning activities such as literature studies, lectures, workshops, group discussions, exercises with supervision and peer feedback, as well as oral presentations with digital media. <br> The course has a process-oriented approach, requiring active participation in the mentioned teaching methods. There are only three web-based meetings at fixed times. There are no campus based meetings.
