Performance Studies - Historical Performance Practice for String Instruments

<p>This is a one-year, full-time course for students who wish to develop and refine their technical and artistic skills. The course provides opportunities to deepen your understanding of the stylistic characteristics and performance practices of Baroque and Classical music.</p><p>Under the guidance of experienced teachers, you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of your main instrument. Through regular individual lessons, you will develop both your technical skills and your artistic expression.</p><p>In practical workshops on historical performance practice, you will explore important aspects such as ornamentation, phrasing and interpretation. This will help you refine your own musical voice.</p><p>A high artistic and technical level of your instrument is required for study. Only violin and viola are eligible for application.</p>
