Practice based education as a real estate broker

In order to meet the general entry requirements for first cycle studies you must have successfully completed upper secondary education and have documented skills in English language. Exemption for Swedish A and B / Swedish 1-3. and for admission to this course the student must also have attained at least 97,5 ECTS, of which at least 67,5 ECTS in jurisprudence/law. The following courses should be included in this and be completed entirely with at least a passing grade: - Introductory course in real estate brokering (N0037N) 7,5 ECTS, - Basic law for estate agents (J0030N) 15 ECTS, - Taxation law (J0028N) 7,5 ECTS, - Building technology (K0011B) 7,5 ECTS, - Land law (J0036N) 15 ECTS, - Real Estate Agency 1 (J0050N) 7,5 ECTS, - Commercial law for real estate broker (J0054N) 15 ECTS, - Public regulations of Real Estates (J0033N) 7,5 ECTS, - Real Estate Valuation (R0018N) 7,5 ECTS, - Legal methods for real estate agents (J0056N) 7,5 ECTS, or equivalent. An applicant who meets the requirements will be granted conditional admission to the course. Full admission, and thereby eligibility to participate, requires that the student, in collaboration with a supervisor at the real estate agency (VFU provider), prepares a study plan that must be approved by the course examiner, see further details under Course Content. The study plan must be submitted to the examiner no later than one calendar month prior to the course commencement and approved no later than two weeks before the start of the course. In addition, the supervisor at the real estate agency must provide evidence of compliance with the Swedish Estate Agents Inspectorate's requirements for a practical training supervisor.
