Public Health Sciences: Practical Training

The placement should be adapted to the needs and potentials of the workplace and the student, who is expected to take an active part in the daily work for the purpose of acquire knowledge in one or several areas of processing, planning, investigating, providing information and documenting. In conjunction, the student and supervisor draw up a plan for the placement, taking the above into account. The student should be given the opportunity to complete an assignment according to instructions. Upon completion of the practical placement, students carry out an independent project in which experiences of the placement are linked to public health theory. 13 ECTS credits are awarded for the practical placement and 2 ECTS credits for the hand-in assignment.
