Sociology: Master (One Year) Thesis

<p>This course gives you the opportunity to define your own research question in sociology and contribute to academic discussions. By writing a thesis, you develop your expertise and demonstrate your ability - both as a researcher and as a social analyst.</p><p>The course is worth 15 credits and consists of an independent thesis in sociology. You formulate your own research question, engage with current research and apply relevant theories and methods. Your thesis should demonstrate critical thinking, independence, and clear communication of your results.  </p><p>At the final seminar, you present your thesis and provide constructive feedback on another student’s work.  </p><p>If you wish to write a 30-credit thesis to complete a two-year master’s programme, you should apply for the course Sociology: Master’s Thesis (SOCM05).  </p>
