Space, Scenography and Landscape

<p>How do spaces shape our experiences? In this course you will explore both actual and fictional spaces at different scales through hands-on work with images, collages and models. You will develop your ability to analyse, design and think creatively.</p><p>The course focuses on the investigation, interpretation and understanding of different types of spaces, both real and fictional, and how people relate to them in different ways.</p><p>Through practical work with different drawing techniques, types of models and collage you will explore spatial expressions and their meaning. You will develop your creative process and train your analytical skills through artistic work and in conversations with teachers and fellow students.</p><p>The course is suitable for those who are curious about how spaces can communicate and evoke emotions, and who want to develop your ability to combine artistic making with analytical thinking. It can be read as a stand-alone course and is relevant for those who are interested in architecture, design, performing arts or urban planning.</p>
