Sport Science, Sport Management in an International Perspective

The course is divided into four sub-courses: Sport, Sport management in an international context 7.5 credits. Sports, Glocal sports management in practice 7.5 credits. Sports, Sports management and technology 7.5 credits. Sports, Sports management of the future, 7.5 credits. The course aims to give you an insight into different countries' ways of organizing sports and how sports management is affected by differences in culture, geography, economics and politics. The course will also give you knowledge of the increasingly advanced and digitized technology used to test, monitor and analyze sporting performance. Otherwise, the course will aim to give you knowledge about how global changes affect and are managed by sports organizations at the local level, as well as to give you knowledge about development processes and innovations that will likely affect the sport of the future. During the course, you must identify emerging and possible future innovations in technology but also in other areas.
