Teacher Training Practice - Vocational Education

Practical placement 1 Students have the opportunity to - acquire knowledge of legislation pertaining to confidentiality and obligation to notify irregularities. - apply central regulations and guidelines and local pedagogical planning with consideration of equality and equal opportunities policies, - meet different groups of staff in a school and participate in everyday school activities, - apply subject-specific teaching theories and transform subject knowledge into teaching and reflect on the relation between theory and practice, - apply central regulations and guidelines and local pedagogical planning with consideration of equality and equal opportunities policies, - use ICT in their teaching, - make observations, - discuss and reflect on the profession and professional development, - use ICT in school, - make observations, - discuss and reflect on the profession and professional development, - participate in special education and student welfare efforts in the school. Practical placement 2 Students engage in the following activities: - interpret and apply central directives and curricula - apply pedagogical and subject-specific teaching theories taking into account pupils' knowledge, abilitites and needs, - plan, lead and carry out a teaching sequence over a longer period of time, while participating in all aspects of their future professional role, - handle special education needs in cooperation with others - document, assess and/or grade pupils' knowledge in relation to objectives, - use digital tools in education.
